The forces of science and religion are beginning to fuse into a formidable seductive foe against any who would resist it’s power to reorder the West with a new dogma that satisfies speculative concerns raised by science when human beings are removed from any sense of rightful dominance over nature and placed on equal terms with the rest of creation.
Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our Founding Fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future. Chester M. Pierce; Professor of Education and Psychiatry; Harvard
If this statement by Chester Pierce isn’t enough for any parent to consider homeschooling, I don’t know what is. For most of us who try to stay informed, ongoing efforts by those whose great ambition in life is to herd us like cattle into designated green zones called ‘smart growth’ areas for human habitation, such an attitude is no surprise. Though these approved corrals may be viewed as necessary for our own good by those who aggressively advocate for the preservation of the planet, it is to the Earth as life giving primordial mother that leaders of the Environmental Movement bend their knees and bow their heads. The Earth, as mother and goddess, her threats identified and her natural gifts sustained, demands a new moral paradigm for humanity and our children must be carefully taught.
The Environmental Movement
On a global scale the Environmental Movement is a diverse scientific, social, and political crusade that addresses environmental issues. Green activists believe that only sustainable management of land, water and even atmospheric resources can sufficiently protect the planet. Consequently, they campaign for changes in public policy to coerce individual behavior in ways that favor a green political agenda, that is why it is so important to be informed. Many among them view human beings as nothing more than participatory agents within ecosystems. With such a diminished view of humanity, any consideration that could possibly restrain the implementation of painful policies designed to crush any resistance to the green global vision is removed. Gun control is part of that initiative. Loosing our property rights and then the property itself is also a means to control natural resources for the greater collective good of all. Moral values must be redefined on ‘collective terms’ because the individual as self centered, greedy and downright evil has no place in this new eco order and must disappear.
To promote and sustain these new principles a shift in Western cultural consciousness is emerging on two fronts, science and religion. Though initially Janus faced in mission, the two now compliment each other and are giving birth to a new and rather wild child idea that gives pantheism a magical appeal among more creative individuals within the cause. This religious system is not intended to return humanity to the past when thousands of years ago magic and religion were one and the same; After all, now we have the strong arm of science to explain the cause and effect of ‘bump in the night’. However, regardless of this fact, the forces of science, magic and religion now recognize each other on new respectful terms. Rather than cancel each other out, these three former adversaries are beginning to fuse into a formidable seductive foe against any who would resist it’s power to reorder the West.
First, with science leading the way through new technology and at times questionable research findings, climate change from global warming has been of great concern to world leaders everywhere in recent years. The explosion of human populations worldwide and the growing concern for adequate clean water, land and air has become a challenge that all nations seek to address. Through the revelation of scientific investigation a new understanding and appreciation of global interdependence with respect to ecosystems and biodiversity of regions far removed from those in jeopardy has advanced to that of top priority, the Amazon Rainforest is a great example.
Second, with humanity held as responsible for stripping the Earth of natural resources and dumping various forms of pollution on Mother Earth’s beautiful face and poisoning her blood streams (rivers, lakes and oceans), eco values become tenets for a new religious doctrine, see (The Gaia Movement – Return of The Goddess). This new dogma satisfies speculative concerns raised by science when human beings are removed from any sense of rightful dominance over nature as declared by a Creator God in the Judeo Christian or Muslim world views and placed on equal terms with the rest of creation. However, blessed with high intelligence, human beings must be monitored and controlled so that we do not offend the Earth, this duty falls in the domain of science. Yet, science is not enough to prevent inevitable rebellion from intelligent creatures, that is where the new religion comes in. Rather than live for and hold as sacred what science dismisses as a God that cannot be proven, a God whose directives include;
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28, King James Version (KJV)
A new God/Goddess for a new age becomes necessary to unite human kind for a new adventure. Such a new religious consensus requires a doctrine that compliments scientific directives to save the planet. This new faith or rather an old one repackaged, places the Earth as central, patriarchal societies morph into matriarchal as the cultural drive shifts and the Earth is returned to her former glory/horror as ‘Gaia’ mother goddess, but this time Earth Mother is sanctified with blessings of scientific credibility.
This transition to reverence of the Earth as goddess is not so far fetched. The historical strength of the Church (patriarchal in nature) continues to wane in the West, it’s cornerstone Jesus Christ is dismissed as just another teacher or prophet. Christian principles on which many thriving Western democracies were founded are being deleted from the social contract of governance. In the United States the Constitution is increasingly ignored and those who cling to an orthodox view of Christian doctrine mocked, persecuted and marginalized. Yet, make no mistake, though they stay silent for now, the followers of Islam will not bow to a goddess. Islam is a faith deeply entrenched in a masculine identity and it is certain that those who live faithfully within it’s parameters will remain steadfast to the core of it’s teachings. Muslims will not suffer the goddess and the day will come when they will trash her! Though theories differ, many Christians who study eschatology recognize Gaia as the ‘Great Whore of Babylon’.
17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written a mystery: Babylon The Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the Earth.
17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sat. Book of Revelation 17:3-9, King James Version (KJV)
Third, the magic of such a religiosity manifests when all of creation begins to take on personality and cry out for specific attention. Within such a paradigm pantheism returns and human beings will again serve the forces of nature. Though science comes to the rescue and erases the fear from an angry, enchanted universe, public policies and collective social values will be implemented that govern individual behavior to placate the angry forces of climate change that lead to global warming. Still we must not be deceived, the goddess will return with a vengeance. Whether it be to duties assigned as forced labor, issues of privacy, freedom of speech, thought, expression, right to associate, priority for medical attention, worthiness to live or die, this goddess will be bloody once she has gained enough influence and her magic will become a nightmare for those who defy her. Social, political and economic cooperation on all levels of government will integrate on a global scale with the ideology of hard core Marxism to enforce the designated collective will. This is the platform on which Agenda 21 is established.
Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced, a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level. UN Agenda 21
Agenda 21 is an ambitious global initiative that requires complex social engineering across diverse cultures. To achieve this goal, education takes on whole new meaning and parental rights no longer apply.
... our concern is to indicate two things: (a) the generalization of this control to so much of the individual’s behavior that he is described and characterized as a person by these pervasive controlling tendencies, and (b) the integration of these beliefs, ideas, and attitudes into a total philosophy or world view. Benjamin Bloom, David Krathwohl and Bertram B Masia; Taxonomy of Educational Objectives; Book 2: Affective Domain; New York: Longman; 1964. pg.184
When environmental interests are inserted into the social equation, the Earth Charter Initiative begs to enter school curriculum on all levels.
What is The Earth Charter?
The Earth Charter is a universal expression of ethical principles to foster sustainable development.
The Earth Charter Initiative is the global network that embraces, uses and integrates the Earth Charter principles.
The Earth Charter may appear to be about the preservation and development of land, sea and atmospheric resources based on planet friendly practices, but there is far more ambition here than meets the eye. If we think of the Earth as our precious home, then of course we want to take care of it. We all know the Earth is over populated, so we want to do what we can to assure clean air, water and top soil. Who wants to live in a crowded, filthy world? If a clean, green and sustainable environment were the only objective of The Earth Charter, then that would be fine. However, this Charter is about much more than caring for the planet, it is about the enslavement and depopulation of humanity and this requires indoctrination of our children.
Though already 10 years old, this video explains The Earth Charter Initiative, who was behind its construction and what it means for us.
The Earth Charter is a broad cross cultural approach to prepare humanity on intellectual, psychological and spiritual levels to accept all binding UN treaties that empower the United Nations with legislative, judicial, executive, military and police powers and to transform it into an all powerful world government. William F. Jasper, The New American, magazine, 12 October 2002
The Earth Charter is a manifesto that declares global interdependence and shared responsibility for the well-being of the whole human family, the greater community of life, and future generations. These goals sound noble, but the effort needed to achieve them are diametrically opposed to the United States Constitution and The Declaration of Independence, because both of these documents are based on Judeo Christian principles. This means that the individual must be stripped of his/her right to live as conscience dictates. In fact, individuality must be discouraged altogether, through proper indoctrination and new ‘collective’ values taught to our youth.
A Brief History of the Environmental Movement
In the United States, environmentalists were originally applauded for protecting the nation’s wilderness preserves for future generations and eliminating pollution that could affect human health. Conservationists focused on efficient and professional management of natural resources. They fought for reform to preserve forests, fertile soil, water, minerals, and wildlife resources because they believed these assets to not only have inherent value, but also as a nurturing element for society and cultural identity. The impact of environmental negligence, disease, and widespread air and water pollution from environmental disasters created urgent meaning for action. Preservationists like John Muir wanted land and nature set aside for its own sake. Others such as Gifford Pinchot wanted natural resources managed for human use. Writers such as Henry David Thoreau wrote about living among the wildlife that frequented a pond in 19th century Massachusetts. Aldo Leopold preferred a more utilitarian approach. He viewed ecological awareness and preservation of ecosystems as an “ethics of the land” concept and suggested that,
Land, water and natural resources should the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
Then Rachel Carson’s “Silent Spring” was published and the American public became alarmed about the declining bird populations due to pollution, DDT, insecticides, and man’s attempts to control nature through use of synthetic substances.
First celebrated on April 22, 1970, Earth Day was noted on calendars from that day forward as one devoted for environmental education and awareness. Then Greenpeace took off in 1971. They believed that political and legislative advocacy were a waste of time and supported a non-violent in the trenches style of activism. However, with Earth First launched in 1980, a new ideology surfaced that placed all living things as no less worthy of survival than that of human beings. This is the dangerous shift fully realized on the underside of Agenda 21 as introduced in Rio de Janeiro 1992.
Of course along the way, man made disasters from oil spills, nuclear testing, chemical substances leached from the soil into ground water, exploding populations in areas designated as desert is concern justified, but Agenda 21 is a global solution? It works only if human beings can get over the idea that we are more important than other creatures that inhabit the Earth. In order to promote the right view of who we should be in this universe, it becomes necessary to move away from a God that values human beings and the individual in particular. The idea that a Creator exists, one that loves and reaches out to a fallen humanity is not one that will work for this New Age. Other faiths may have their own degree of resistance, but this one in particular gets in the way, so it must be eradicated from Western consciousness.
Someone is always trying to summon us back to a dead allegiance: Back to God, the simple-minded religion of an earlier day. “Back to the basics,” simple-minded education. Back to simple-minded patriotism. And now we are being called back to a simple-minded “rationality” contradicted by personal experience and frontier science. Marilyn Ferguson; The Aquarian Conspiracy; p 128
The Christian faith with all it’s flawed members has been the foundation of Western civilization for 2,000 years. With Jesus of Nazareth as the cornerstone on which Christianity was established and sustained for centuries, we have now come to a time where he can be dismissed as a historical figure, a great teacher, a prophet but certainly not the Son of God, God incarnate. Science dominates as the only truth worth knowing in the West now and in our folly we fall for another god or rather goddess, Gaia. Some environmentalists deeply resent the allegation that the Green Movement has anything to do with ecotheology, but just because they fail to view the Earth as a sacred entity, does not mean the claim is false.
The earth is not dead matter. She is alive. Now begin to speak to the earth as you walk. You can speak out loud, or just talk to her in your mind. Send your love into her with your exhalation. Feel your heart touching upon the heart of the planet. Say to her whatever words come to you: Mother Earth, I love you. Mother Earth, I bless you. May you be healed. May all your creatures be happy. Peace to you, Mother Earth. On behalf of the human race, I ask forgiveness for having injured you. Forgive us, Mother Earth. Prayer to the Earth, US Student Textbook
